GSU Funding for classes - if your counselor does not approve you in Ga Futures for specific courses, you will be dropped from the class. You cannot register or withdraw from courses without high school counselor approval.
**Summer 2024 - GSU Funding Deadline is no later than 2/29/24, so if you intend to take a summer class, your counselor will need to do your funding approval before then or you will not be allowed to register. This is before our FCS DE Contracts are due, so you will need to communicate with your counselor to ensure your funding is completed on time.
- Check your GSU email regularly. We recommend setting up your emails to automatically forward to a personal account you check regularly.
- After acceptance, student must sign up for an orientation and registration session at the college. Directions to sign up for a session will be sent to your GSU email account when registration opens (typically mid-April for Summer & Fall courses and mid-October for Spring courses).
AFTER YOU ARE ACCEPTED TO GSU please complete the next steps. It will take 24 hours from the time of acceptance before you can access student systems to complete these next steps. Click here- next_steps_for_gsu.pdf
Here are helpful directions on how to register for classes: success.students.gsu.edu/dual-enrollment/class-registration/
After the student has registered, student should upload a screenshot of their schedule to Microsoft Teams - Registration Upload.
- Any course on the DE course directory will be paid for by the college. Your DE Funding application must be processed by the high school before the college will allow you to register for classes. Here is a link to the directory: www.gafutures.org/checs/dualenrollment/DECourseDirectory
- You can choose to take courses at any Perimeter campus or online, however keep in mind travel times will be longer from further campuses.
- College contact: [email protected] or by phone at 770-274-5612
Visit the Counseling and Testing Center for information about signing up for the ACCUPLACER exam, if needed. A student can only sign up to take the Accuplacer at GSU after the student has applied and received a Panther ID number.
