PSAT SCORES - UPDATED POLICY from Gwinnett Tech - 3/10/2022
GTC can accept PSAT scores (Not PSAT 8/9) from the student if the score report is directly from CollegeBoard. The document must be an unaltered version, sent to us as a pdf that includes all pages and clearly shows the student’s name, month/year the PSAT was taken and the 2-digit score for each section. How do rising 10th graders send ACT or SAT test scores to Georgia Student Finance Commission? (10th graders wishing to take an academic course must do this).
HOPE GPA TRANSCRIPT - in lieu of ACT/SAT test scores for GTC only
All transcripts are sent via Ga Futures.
- Go to www.gafutures.org
- Click on the College Planning tab at the top
- Scroll down until you see the "High School Transcript" option
Follow the directions for your transcript to be sent.

- Check your Gwinnett Tech email regularly. We recommend setting up your emails to automatically forward to a personal account you check regularly.
- Once you are accepted, you may register for the courses you indicated on your FCS Dual Enrollment Contract.
- Be mindful of Gwinnett Tech's registration windows - if you register too late, you may have to pay a $45 fee. Registration typically opens mid-April for Summer and Fall courses and mid-October for Spring courses.
- Once registered, upload a screenshot of your schedule to the Teams portal - there is a task created to do this.
- No parking pass is required, but park only in student-designated lots and spaces.
- You can choose to take courses at any Gwinnett Tech campus or Gwinnett Tech online, however keep in mind travel times will be longer from further campuses.

- No GPA requirement
- Open to 10th through 12th grade.
- 10th graders are only allowed to take CTAE (elective classes) unless they meet the test scores set by Georgia Student Finance Commission to take a core/academic class.
- Students can send SAT/ACT scores for admission OR take the Accuplacer test OR send PSAT scores OR send HOPE GPA Transcript.
- PSAT scores can be used in lieu of SAT/ACT for 11th & 12th graders.
- PSAT scores can be used for 10th graders, but students will only be permitted to take CTAE classes, not academic classes.

How do rising 10th graders send ACT or SAT test scores to Georgia Student Finance Commission? (10th graders wishing to take an academic course must do this).
- Email ACT/SAT score reports to GSFC at [email protected].
- Student should first, sign, date, and write the statement, “this is a true and exact copy of the original score report” directly on the report.
The body of the email must provide:- student’s full name
- high school of attendance
- date of birth (DOB)
- last four of digits of the Social Security Number (SSN)
